I get asked a lot about why I started Grouchy Mantis Co and what "Welcome to the Mantis Gang" actually means.

The truth? It’s about the grind that happens when the cameras aren't rolling. Whether I’m navigating the complexities of a Wyoming LLC as a Canadian resident, staying up late to tweak the CSS on our Shopify store, or balancing the hustle with my career in construction—I know what it means to put in the work.

"If it was easy, everyone would do it."

I didn't want to build just another store. I wanted to create a community for the people who are tired of the "get rich quick" noise and actually appreciate the sacrifice it takes to build something from the ground up. I want to build a store that actually puts customer service first, customer servive first. 

We are the ones who show up early, stay late, and keep our heads down until the job is done. That’s the Mantis Gang.
